Hugo Chavez wins re-election in Venezuela
NBC News: President Hugo Chavez won re-election in Venezuela’s presidential election Sunday, according to the electoral council.
Chavez won 54% of the vote. Supporters of Chavez took to the streets and set off fireworks in celebration. Opposition candidate Henrique Capriles won 45% of the vote.
